Sitting comfortably in the rain, the drops were wide and far apart, I felt one hit my right shoulder, then my toe, followed by my thigh, everything was getting drenched but I felt markedly dry, like the air was already saturated and so the drops made no difference. The air was silent, dark and wonderfully calming…I got up, walked back into the studio and picked up where I left off, my life companions upstairs and afar were most likely dreaming softly to the sound of droplets calmly exploding on the fibro eaves and roof.
